About Oghenefejiri
I’m a third-year medical student at Barts and The London, Queen Mary University of London, with a strong academic background in Chemistry. I achieved nine grade 9s at GCSE, including Chemistry, and an A in A-Level Chemistry.
I have paid tutoring experience supporting an A-Level Biology student, where I use structured revision materials, interactive teaching and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and examination technique.
My medical studies have further developed my scientific knowledge, analytical thinking and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. I understand the challenges students face when learning Chemistry, particularly when applying theoretical knowledge to calculations, unfamiliar problems and examination questions.
I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps and helping students build confidence through practice and constructive feedback.
I’m patient, approachable and committed to tailoring lessons to each student’s individual learning needs, abilities and academic goals.

I offer personalised online Chemistry tuition for GCSE (AQA) and A-Level (OCR A) students, helping them develop a strong understanding of challenging concepts, improve their problem-solving skills and build confidence in examinations.
My lessons take place via Google Meet and follow a structured, interactive approach combining clear explanations, active learning and exam-style practice.
My lesson structure:
1. Identify areas for improvement: Establish the student’s current understanding, learning objectives and topics requiring additional support.
2. Explain key concepts: Break down difficult Chemistry topics using personalised revision notes, worked examples, diagrams and step-by-step explanations.
3. Check understanding: Use active recall, targeted questions and discussion to assess understanding throughout the lesson.
4. Apply knowledge: Work through tailored exam-style questions, including original practice materials and relevant past-paper questions.
5. Develop exam technique: Review answers using mark schemes, focusing on command words, scientific terminology, calculations, units, significant figures and structuring longer responses.
6. Consolidate learning: Identify recurring mistakes, revisit weaker areas and set appropriate independent practice between lessons.
For GCSE students, I focus on strengthening foundational knowledge, developing confidence with chemical equations and calculations, and improving examination performance.
For A-Level students, I place greater emphasis on detailed chemical mechanisms, quantitative problem-solving, organic reaction pathways and applying knowledge to unfamiliar examination questions.
Lessons typically last 1–2 hours and are tailored to each student’s needs, examination board and target grades.
I also offer a free 60-minute introductory lesson to assess learning needs, demonstrate my teaching approach and establish a personalised plan for future sessions.
Recommendations

Oghenefejiri is my brother, and I firmly believe that any student under his wing would be in capable hands. When I was younger, he tutored me with the exact patience needed to make a student feel valued, regardless of how much they were struggling. As a medical student, his work ethic speaks for itself—he brings that same dedication to every session, giving students the full attention they need to excel.
What I appreciate most is how well-structured his teaching is. You never feel overwhelmed by the material; everything comes together seamlessly. To be a great tutor, being knowledgeable isn't enough—you have to communicate that knowledge in a way that truly sticks. Fejiri genuinely possesses that skill because he was once in their shoes. He isn't a professor out of touch with modern learning; he understands what young people need to thrive. He went through the stress of GCSEs and A-Levels himself and passed with flying colors—and with him as your tutor, you can too.View more recommendations
