About Akif
I achieved a full set of grade 9s across all my GCSEs and went on to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level, before studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham. Outside of academics, I've spent over three years in fast-paced, people-facing roles, including volunteering at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, which taught me how to communicate clearly, stay patient under pressure, and adapt to different people's needs — skills I bring directly into how I teach.

My lessons are structured around your exact exam board specification, focusing on the areas where you'll gain marks fastest. We work through past papers together, break down mark schemes so you understand exactly what examiners want, and use active recall techniques rather than passive revision. Sessions are patient and adapted to how you learn best, whether you need confidence-building fundamentals or focused exam technique closer to results day.
