The average length of a lesson is one hour (sixty minutes).

My approach to teaching is to engage on a personal level with all students using the people skills I have developed from working with learners in schools, short stay schools and prisons.
Regarding techniques and teaching methodology. I engage and teach using the VAK teaching (Visual, Kinaesthetic and Auditor) method. For example, I explain how to complete a cross word, provide examples, then teach learners to practically complete a cross word task.

The typical length of the lessons I teach is sixty minutes.

Considering qualifications. I have a DTTLS (Diploma in The Life Long Learning Sector), a BSc degree, A levels, NVQs and GCSEs.

Concerning experience. Currently I work with the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) teaching English, History and Religious Education to Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 children using the online Uniko teaching platform.

Moreover, as a former support worker, I taught basic English, such as writing sentences and paragraphs and geography - for instance basic map grid references - to an autistic learner. Subsequently her challenging, violent behaviours decreased substantially.

Additionally, I have taught learners excluded from both main stream and short stay schools, delivering lessons - in English, Geography, History and GCSE Science revision - in coffee shops, libraries individual pupils’ homes and residential homes.

Previously I have taught job search skills to disabled adults, for instance, I successfully taught autistic learners to make speculative job applications, for example learners skilfully phoned for jobs using Yell.com in class, in front of other learners.

Working with probation I taught serving prisoners CV writing techniques, job application skills and the most effective methods of disclosing criminal convictions in writing and verbally in job interviews.

I have taught English in short stay schools delivering lessons exploring the Five WS, newspaper reporting techniques, creative writing and exam preparation, et cetera.

My lessons are intended for learners aged from six to sixty - five years old.
