About Geraldine
I am Geraldine, owner of Piece of Cake Tutor Centre operating in Pretoria and surrounding areas.
Because writing is a piece of cake, when you have the right guidance!
I am an ex-teacher (SACE registered) who currently specialises in private tutoring. I have degrees in Journalism, English, History, and Higher Education. I have experience teaching and preparing students for CAPS, IEB, and Cambridge IGCSE and AS examinations.
I love languages and offer lessons in English Language, English Literature, Afrikaans Second (First Additional) Language, and History. I have experience teaching and tutoring grades 6-12.
I also offer writing and research assistance for University-level students, as well as proofreading and critical feedback on assignments.

Writing and comprehension skills are incredibly important, no matter what subject you want to excel in.
My lessons are focussed on identifying an individual's needs, and then giving them the right tools to make sure that they can reach their full potential.
I have experience teaching many different curriculum, and love finding the best way to creatively address and explain the subject matter at hand. Learning, especially language learning, should be highly interactive!
