About Sophia
I am a first year university student studying in bachelor of speech pathology in USYD. I have been tutoring a year 1 child and a kindergarten kid in maths and english for almost 4 months
I have graduated high school with an atar of 95.55
My maths advanced mark was 98/100 and my maths extension 1 mark was 47/50

I first assess the student with a test to pinpoint her/his weaknesses and strengths. Afterwards, I discuss with the student to decide what to focus on, based on the previous test conducted.
Also, I tend to set the ‘overall goal’ with the student, whether it is catching up with the school lessons or going ahead of the school curriculum.
I do set up a plan, a curriculum for the whole week/months but it can always be altered for student’s situation, such as upcoming assessments/assignments.
