About Liv

I am a driven and passionate individual who strives to ensure students are heard and understood in how they learn best. I have extensive experience in the education sector - not only am I currently completing my university degree in education, but I also work as a teacher aide on the Gold Coast. In my line of work as an inclusion teacher aide, I am passionate about empathising with my students' struggles and inspiring them to be the best versions of themselves.

About the lesson

I have 6 years of experience in educational support and 3 years of private tutoring. I have experience in supporting students with additional educational needs/disabilities.

I have experience and knowledge in:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- Humanities
(Prep to Yr 10 (Yr 11-12 on request)

Lessons are 1:1, with a duration of 30 to 120 minutes (depending on the year level and subject). My lessons use a student-focused teaching style that combines clear explanations, guided practice, and interactive discussion, adapting methods to suit each student’s goals and needs.

- Certificate III & Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
- Certificate III in Business
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary - Learning Support/Inclusive Education and English) [on-going]

Pricing-
All sessions (including initial sessions) will be $60 per hour plus a $20 travel fee for in-person students.

Cancellation Policy -
I must be given at least 48 hours' notice of any changes to tutoring times or session cancellations. If you do not notify me 48 hours prior, you will be required to pay for the lesson in full, plus travel costs (in-person students only incur additional travel costs), due to the amount of resource preparation and planning required for sessions.
