I know the job market is tough right now. Applications disappear into silence, and it’s easy to start doubting yourself.

Having sat on the other side of the table at Goldman Sachs, I firmly believe that most people who apply for an early-careers role could do it well. What separates the candidates who get hired is rarely ability. It’s how clearly they show it: knowing what makes them valuable, telling that story with confidence, and putting it in front of the right people.

That’s where I come in. I’ll help you understand how hiring and performance decisions really get made, then position yourself to match. Just as importantly, I’ll help you step back and work out what you actually want, so the decisions you make move your career forward on your terms.

Whether you’re breaking in, stepping up, or changing direction, I’d love to help you get there.

About the lesson

I led Goldman Sachs talent management processes for two years. That meant shaping how performance is assessed, how high potentials are identified, and what it really takes to progress in high-performing cultures like banks and consulting firms. Prior to that, I also worked at Accenture in cloud transformation consulting.

I now use that insider view to help people with:
discern their career path after university
prep for job applications and interviews
breaking into finance or consulting
preparing for performance reviews and promotion conversations
building a career plan that holds up under pressure
