About Kathryn
I completed my ABRSM Grade 8 exam in 2014, and love playing jazz and contemporary piano pieces. I have experience in teaching music theory, grades 1-4 and sightreading to children aged 6-10, however I am very easy to get along with and will help learners of all ages and from beginners to grade 6.

My teaching style is very relaxed and fun, and I will always try to find pieces that you find exciting and challenging. I will work out what your best mode of learning is for more technical scales and music theory. I like to use different analogies and stories when teaching new concepts so they are easier to learn and more memorable.
