About Mia
I have always had an aptitude for Geography and it is still a subject that I am passionate about and enjoy to the fullest.
This love for Geography has resulted in a deep understanding of the subject and a number of Distinctions above 85%, Certificates and Rewards.
I thus aspire to share the same fondness I have with Geography with my students. Focusing not just on the learning aspect, but to show students that Geography can be interesting and fun. My lessons will enable students to apply their knowledge of Geography in their everyday-life!
I believe that being calm, focused and comfortable in your own space will make learning most enjoyable, thus I will ensure professionalism throughout my Tutoring Lessons and create an atmosphere that is comfortable to learn in.

Throughout my High School years I have learned the key principles to mastering Geography, thus teaching these principles, together with the learning materials will ensure successful results!
*Tutoring lessons will consist of in-detail explanations, examples, illustrations, practice papers, Q&A sessions and summaries.
*The lessons are adaptable to what the learner needs the most.
*The main Focus will be to absorb information sufficiently, but most importantly to understand the work that is being taught!
- All High School learners are welcome.
- Primary School learners with Geography related inquiries will also be accepted.
- Online lessons are available throughout the week.
- I am able to teach in English or Afrikaans.
- First lesson is Free! R120 per lesson/hour thereafter.
NOTE: Learning materials / Topics from students should be provided to ensure preparation for future lessons!
