About Christina
As a child, learning to play piano gave me a new found appreciation for the language of music which can be very easily overlooked.
Now having played for nearly 20 years, I have used my musicianship skills and knowledge in music theory to self-teach guitar, voice, songwriting, composition and arrangement. In addition to possessing my Grade 8 Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory, I graduated from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) with a BA in Music Production.
Whilst continuously developing myself as a well rounded musician, I have remained dedicated to playing piano. I really enjoy passing my knowledge and expertise on to aspiring musicians to help them develop their craft, and I find it extremely rewarding when they achieve their personal goals.

For both child and adult students, piano lessons will be structured around the student's personal musical goals and needs, whether that involves working towards exams, help with a specific song, piece or technique, preparing for performances or simply playing just for fun and the love of music. We can cover many different styles from classical and jazz pieces through to popular music.
In addition, we will cover the fundamentals of music theory and how to read sheet music, as well as other important musicianship skills, including sight reading, ear training and transcription.
