Grade 12 student in Edmonton, AB offering virtual Math tutoring to students in Grade 7-12

Thomas has so much patience, when I would get confused in math class he would always be there to give a second explanation and help me understand. he went above and beyond with helping me - even took it upon himself to print me out worksheets to practice on before tests.

Thomas is super reliable and is able to explain things in an easy to understand, helpful and comforting way. He won't judge anyone based on their understanding and truly just wants to help.

Thomas is very friendly and kind and I believe he would make a fantastic teacher. We were in the same math class and whenever I had questions I always asked him and he was great at explain it to me and he would go out of his way to make sure that I understood it.

Thomas’s passion for reading and writing would make him a fantastic tutor. Speaking from personal experience, I can say that Thomas is very motivated and enthusiastic when it comes to helping others. I would recommend him as a tutor for other people as he is able to lend a helping hand every step of the way and will do his best to make sure that you not only learn but understand the concept.

Thomas demonstrates determination that can really motivate a student. His witty yet insightful demeanour would definitely allow students to grow. Aside from that, Thomas is a genuine active listener. His character allows others to trust him. I feel that he always sees the best in everyone!

Thomas was in my class for junior high in grades 8 and 9. He was the kind of guy to always help me out in class and help me study when he knew I was struggling. Every class I knew I could count on Thomas to help me out. He has an effective way to express ideas to make them clear to listener. To ask for help in anything can be tough but to ask Thomas for help is easy because he is so approachable and easy to talk to. All in all, Thomas would make an excellent teacher and he has already helped so many kids it would be a shame not to let other kids get that opportunity to be taught by Thomas.

Very personable and great understanding of content covered

Thomas has helped me in every class I have had problems with. He explains things with detail and he is always happy to answer all my questions! In general he’s a very kind and generous person. If I have a question for literally anything, he is the person I turn to first. I’ve known Thomas for 6 years now, since grade 5. His teaching style is very hands on, he’ll draw pictures and diagrams and show you visually, and he uses his hands to explain things very well. We had English class together last year and I always got him to proof read all my work because he always had some helpful and insightful Criticism. I would definitely recommend Thomas for this position!
