About Hayley
Hello! My name is Hayley. I am a Grade 12 Student at Argyle Secondary. My goal is to help young students not just meet the expectations, but excel at English. I have been working with kids for years as a coach, through volunteer work, and babysitting, so I understand every child is unique in their own way and a path to success is never linear. I am deeply excited to help students tackle challenges, and gain important English skills to better prepare them for upcoming years.

Literature is one of my greatest passions. Seeing a newfound love of prose begin to blossom within a student is my goal. I work especially with elementary students struggling with writing, grammar, punctuation, etc. I care deeply about targeting the student’s troubled areas in order to create a baseline for improvement, so we can work from there as a team! This might include a consultation with the parents prior to the tutoring sessions so we can figure out the best way to learn.
