I am a graduate in Applied and Human Biology and I have been a contract Science Instructor with TeacherActive agency for over three years, teaching all areas of Science across all age groups and special needs. I have taught the OCR and AQA exam boards. Specialist in Secondary Science with experience of working in Primary and Special Needs schools. I have knowledge of what the exam boards require and I have also been involved in the marking of exam scripts and assessment marking.
Science Instructor. Day Supply, Various Locations. 03/16 to Present.
• Supply teacher working in various schools on day to day supply.
• Experienced at handling and adapting to difficult or new situations.
Science Teacher. Lighthall School, Birmingham. 01/16 to 03/16.
Teach GCSE sciences to sixteen groups of thirty mixed ability students.
• Confident presentation skills; teach 5 classes a day each with a different requirement.
• Experienced at conflict resolution, by handling difficult students and parents with professionalism, tact and integrity.
• Ability to adapt in working in different environments with all kinds of people. Worked in mainstream, alternative provision and special needs schools.
• Hardworking; Teach 20 different classes, each with 33 pupils. All classes require different schemes of work to accommodate the different levels of ability. Designed all lessons from scratch and spend around 4 hours working from home each night.
• Disciplined and always present a professional image.
• Always worked under high pressure, target driven environment and responsible for completing work to tight deadlines. Lesson marking, exam paper marking and lesson planning must all be completed to a tight deadline.

Hazel oak school is a large specialist school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties including, pupils on the autistic spectrum.
Science Instructor. Continu Plus Academy, Kidderminster. 07/2015 to 10/2015.
Continu Plus Academy is a free school for Alternative Provision. All of the students had been permanently expelled from mainstream school and generally have a background of social, emotional and mental health difficulties. All of the students have an education health care plan.
