I first met Sir Jose Niño when I was in Grade 10, when he was our Assistant Principal. Even then, I could already see how determined, hardworking, and committed he was to his responsibilities. He always carried himself with professionalism and genuinely cared about the students and the school community.

Then, during my Grade 11 year, I was fortunate enough to have him as both my class adviser and Mathematics teacher. That experience allowed me to know him beyond his role as an administrator. I realized that he is not only a responsible Assistant Principal but also a dedicated educator who guides and supports his students both inside and outside the classroom.

What I appreciate most about Sir Niño’s teaching is how he makes Mathematics easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. He has a unique but highly effective way of explaining even the most difficult topics. He keeps students engaged, encourages us to ask questions, and patiently explains concepts until everyone understands. He never gives up on a student who is struggling, and that level of patience and commitment is something I truly admire.

One experience that I will always treasure is how Sir Niño is always willing to listen—not just when we have questions about Math or schoolwork, but also when we face personal challenges. He shares meaningful advice, motivates us to become better people, and teaches lessons that go beyond academics. His guidance has inspired many of us as we continue growing and preparing for the future.

Sir Niño was my previous adviser way back grade 11. For me, he was one of the outstanding teachers in the field of mathematics whom I look up to. The way he uses analogy and true to life experiences in mathematics is one of his techniques that I really liked. It made me think outside the box, and realized that mathematics is indeed all around us.
