About Timothy

I have experience as both a student and a tutor in these subjects. As a student, I helped my fellow classmates understand the material better and receive better grades. I know the difficulty in learning math, but I also understand how to think about it to succeed.

My degree in economics helped shape how I think about math. I did not get a math degree, but rather a degree that uses math in the real world. Knowing what it means and how to actually use it is incredibly important.

About the lesson

Simply memorizing formulas is boring and a waste of everyone's time. Actually understanding how the basics work and how they can be applied is much more useful.

I can walk you through the basics or answer questions you might have, but the most important part of tutoring is making sure you actually understand it.

These lessons are for anyone in high school or taking lower-level college classes.
