About Meyakno
Hello,
My name is Meyakno and I'm an Analyst. I've always been fascinated by Math, the predictability of it. I am comfortable with numbers (and the occassional letter lol) as I use them routinely in my everyday work. I have tutored a number of people, and I know all the tricks to simplifying seemingly insurmountable math problems. I also teach techniques to answering certificate exam questions, which are helpful woth speed and accuracy to ensure success

My lesson structure depends on what the student wants. Some students may want the tutor to go through past questions with them while others want to discuss specific topics.
For me, unless a student has specific topics they want to go over, a pre-tutoring test is given before the first session to assess the student's current level and any difficulties they may have. The results of this test will determine the first topic to be looked at. Homework will be regularly given to ensure that whatever is discussed in tutor sessions can be done at home in private. This worked will be marked and feedback will be given.
In order for students to achieve their goals, they need a tutor that can explain concepts that have to in simple, absorbable points. As I have worked with children from 18 months to 18 years, I believe that i have the know-how to achieve this.
Progress will be measured by doing little quizzes after each topic and doing past question papers. It is important for a pupil to see progress. This encourages the pupil and builds their enthusiasm to continue learning and working hard.
