About Loui
I am a freelance Filmmaker based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. I travel for film and art projects yearly, and volunteer my time to teach English for free in impoverished parts of East Africa and Jamaica. I studied communications, and Film and Video production at Penn State University and Screenwriting at New York University. I write screenplays and short stories regularly and thus these honed skills in prose are inherently passed on to my students. I have a keen ear for both British and American accents and can aid students with whichever accent or pronunciation they prefer. I am well traveled, and enjoy engaging with people and cultures from around the world.

Lessons will be catered to foreign student's interests and needs: both personal or professional. Lesson plans are tailored to students specific areas of interest. I grew up in an English commonwealth, but spent most of my life in the USA; which gives me a wider understanding of English. Conversation practice is available for absolute beginners and those who are already proficient, but who want to work on cleaning up their accent (Both British and American )!
