About Emilly
I am a recent graduate from UT Austin, where I received a full-ride as a first-generation student. I have tutored students for years and worked in elementary and preschools because I wouldn't be graduating from college without the support from my own teachers and tutors. Asking for help can be scary, but my goal is to help students feel more confident. Struggling with a subject doesn't mean you aren't capable of learning the material, it means you are learning something new!

Experienced tutor supporting students for over 5 years from ages 5 to 18 years old. I use interactive virtual resources, personalized worksheets, and tailor the lessons to students' interests. Lessons can be adapted to any grade level and age. Typical sessions are 1 hour long, but adjusted as needed. I always try to make students feel comfortable and engaged and update parents/guardians on students' progress consistently. I am especially knowledgeable about finding resources and materials as a first-generation student and an eldest sibling.
