About Nicholas
I've worked as a substitute teacher in some of the hardest school districts and some of the most respected school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've taught students of all ages from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. My experience gives me the confidence to personalize lessons according to age and type of student. My experience as a comedian, musician, and actor allow me to imbue each lesson with an extra bit of fun and excitement.

I take a personable approach to teaching where I allow for the student to feel at ease and comfortable in taking their time learning a new instrument or advancing their skills in an instrument they've already started learning. I like to make the student feel like they already possess the tools to solve the succeed on their own. I steer their studies in the right direction, and, hopefully, expose the student to new music that they've never heard before and that excites them to want to learn more and play that kind of music.
