He's an awesome teacher and musician, always come up with new and fresh solos and hamonizations. He does what he was born to do, he sounds great.

It’s difficult to describe in a few lines how was my experience having Tomati as a teacher. He is that kind of musician you rarely find around, knows a lot about theory, has a great technique, decades of experience; but above it all (or I might say, under it all), he can express himself with music as if it was his mother tongue.

I had the chance to learn from him for about 1 year, during this time he was always challenging me to go further on my music development, but not in the normal way a teacher would do, I had always the feeling he was testing me all the time, when we were improvising over standards he frequently added different chord voices in the harmony to see if I could react to it, he somehow figured out very quickly how far he could go with me without de-motivating me, and I guess this kind of sensibility is what makes a great teacher.

I definitely learned from him a lot about guitar playing, but he surely taught me more about music itself in one year than I’ve learned in decades of playing.

Great musician, terrific teacher, beautiful human being!

The best and most complete guitar teacher.
Thanks, Tomati

He is enthusiastic and knows what he is doing. Plus he pays attention to your difficulties and edits the class for every person

Very talent guitar player, friendly and definitely help me be a better musician! Great guy!

When he would teach me how to play he not only made it fun , but he also taught us a lot of stuff we didnt know how to do like bar chords or scale and how to transition from one to a nother , and a very good person over all.

He’s so unique! We’re talking about a REAL MASTER! I highly recommend! and i’ll tell you more! It is a blessing to have such great opportunity as musician to invest in your music and your career as musician...

Go for it!

O Tomate é fenomenal, bem a cima da média

One of the best teachers you will have. He is able to elevate your playing within the first few lessons. Because of him, I have a higher understanding of how to construct songs and patterns and he is able to properly breakdown complex theory into a comprehensible format for newer musicians. I highly recommend this teacher.

Tomati is a great and amazing guitarist! As a teacher he is very knowledgeable and helpful. He can guide and help you progress and reach the next level of your guitar playing. On top of that he is a really nice person which makes him a great teacher. I highly recommend him.

He knows a lot about scales, chords, conections and Rhythms etc etc

First of all his knowledge about Jazz and Brazilian Jazz , I’ve never seen someone play as Carlos does. His repertoire are huge . Second the way he explained is pretty easy to understand. He is a awesome teacher for sure, I strongly recommend him.
