About Yidan
Hi there! I'm a Chinese language teacher with three years of experience. I help students master the basics – grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation – while systematically building practical skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I'll create a customized study plan based on your current level and goals. My classes are engaging and varied. Beyond the core lessons, I like to spice things up by sharing things like popular Chinese songs, classic poetry, and traditional paper-cutting crafts. I also offer specialized courses for HSK exam preparation, practical Chinese for international students, and conversational Chinese for kids. Whatever language challenge you're facing, I'm here to help you tackle it. Outside teaching, I enjoy traveling, photography, swimming, volleyball, and badminton. I'm really looking forward to connecting with you in class!

My classes focus heavily on spoken communication. We start practicing with real-life scenarios, moving away from old-style cramming methods. I include tons of speaking practice, so you’ll naturally improve your speaking skills along the way.
