About Johnrey

Hi everyone! Welcome to our class. My name is Johnrey but you can call me Teacher John, and I am incredibly excited to be your English teacher.
I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I hold an undergraduate degree in Secondry Education Major in English, which has given me a deep appreciation for learning, communication, and how we share ideas.
While this is my first formal ESL classroom, I am definitely not new to teaching. For a long time, I have worked as a home tutor, helping students one-on-one. Because of that background, I don't just see a classroom—I see a group of individuals. My tutoring experience taught me how to listen closely to what each student needs, how to adapt to different learning styles, and how to give personal, patient support.
My goal is to bring that same dedicated, personal focus right here to our classroom. We are going to build a supportive community where everyone gets the attention they need to grow. Learning a language takes courage, and I respect you immensely for being here. I am in your corner, and I am ready to work hard alongside you.
Let’s have a wonderful term together!"
