About Nibina
My name is Nibina Fathima, and I’m excited to be your biology teacher. Big Question (5 minutes): Pose a challenge: “Can we one day grow organs in a lab? Cure all genetic diseases? Stop aging?” Tell students: “Biology is how we get there.” 3. Real-Life Connections (10 minutes): Medicine: How biology helped create COVID vaccines. Environment: How biology helps us protect endangered species. Technology: CRISPR and gene editing explained simply. Jobs: From doctors to forensic scientists, farmers to biotech engineers. 4. Interactive Activity (15 minutes): Let them extract DNA from strawberries using simple tools (soap, salt, alcohol). This hands-on demo shows that science is real, touchable, and exciting. 5. Motivation (5 minutes): Quote: “Biology gives you a lens to see the invisible — and change the future.” End with a thought-provoking image or fact (like the number of bacteria in your mouth, or how your brain has more connections than stars in the galaxy).
