About Lorenzo
Hello, I'm Lorenzo! I have a degree in music from Faculdade de Música Souza Lima and have been working with music for a few years. I had my first professional gig in 2014 and I have been teaching guitar and guitar since 2018. After years involved with guitar and guitar classes (whether learning or teaching) I noticed many gaps in the teaching of these instruments, especially regarding the connection of musical knowledge with the more practical side of things. That's why I teach the concepts and tools necessary so that students can make and understand music independently. In this way, years of their musical journey will not pass without connecting what they hear and imagine with what is being played.

In my classes, I like to work with some topics that I believe are extremely important, such as: technique, theory, repertoire, harmony and improvisation. I seek to combine "theoretical" study with "practical" study by working on songs, creating exercises, taking exercises from other renowned methods and also using other tools that depend on the stage at which each person is in their own musical journey. All this connecting the subject with musical references that make sense and help the student to understand and make music through the guitar.
