About Coyote
I am an artist living in Los Angeles that focuses on personal documentary-style photography that deals with themes like identity, family, community, and cultural diasporas. I have worked in New York City, Honolulu, London, but a majority of my work is made in California. I am Two Spirit transgender and mixed Karuk, Yurok, German, and Korean. I enjoy writing and filmmaking, while spending plenty of time by the ocean with my chosen kin. Last year I did a residency in Colombia and received a certification in queer curating. I enjoy all forms of art and working with artists from all experiences.

Outside of these shows I’ve also been a traveling art lecturer that has visited universities and colleges across the United States. I am passionate about uplifting artists work and helping materialize new ideas!
