About Melanie
I graduated UC SantaCruz with a degree in sociology and education. I immediately started teaching after finishing school. My main goal was to create a safe a healthy environment for my students. I found that having an open and honest classroom made students feel more confident in their skills. I will always prioritize having a fun and enjoyable learning style. I wish to share my love of learning with others, in hopes of inspiring more educational confidence in students.

Throughout my working journey, I have always been a tutor or student counselor. After three years in an elementary school, I was able to create fun lesson plans that focused on hands-on learning styles. I love learning and hope that I can inspire more students to enjoy school.
