About Jason
I always wanted to work in entertainment. I grew up in New Jersey and then went to college in Boston and received my master's in Syracuse. I then worked my way up as a producer in Los Angeles, while I was writing short films. I produced a bunch and had fun on the festival circuit, but ultimately knew that features are what sell. So I wrote my first screenplay and placed in Top 3 with Script Pipeline. My second feature made the Tracking Board's Hit List and Young & Hungry List. My third, placed in Final Draft's Big Break in the Top 3 horror category. I've sold movies to production companies and streamers. I love working with writers and it's my goal to educate, inform and prepare for a difficult career. I help with all aspects - pitching, loglines, decks, treatments, format, and how to present yourself as a writer. I've helped get a few of my students signed as well.

I work with screenwriters at all levels. From beginners, wanting to learn structure and format to emerging and rep'd. Story and character are what separates you from other writers. It's my goal to help a screenwriter come up with a deadly logline, build that to an outline and treatment and then begin the writing process. Branding is key. So we'd also work on a strong bio and prepare pitch decks, as well. It is my goal to teach, grow and help writers with their professional career (as well as educational).
