About Nick
I am a 22 year old recent graduate from the University of Minnesota. Full-time, I work as an admissions counselor for the University and love working with students. I have always loved language exchange and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study abroad in Montpellier, France for a semester. I also participated in the University's marching band, playing trumpet. I absolutely love music, the outdoors, theatre, and most importantly, meeting new people and helping them to succeed.

I absolutely love engaging with students and helping them as they strive for the next steps in their lives. Full-time, I work as a Freshman Admissions Counselor for the University of Minnesota. This experience has granted me with many skills in how to help students the most effectively. A typical French lesson with me may look like the following:
-Completing a basic vocabulary sheet for that lesson's unit. Students will also write down the French and English meanings of a word in their "French Dictionary" to help them remember the word and its meaning.
-Have conversations about relevant French media that relates to that lesson's unit, and so much more.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my recent experience in education. Having just graduated myself. I know what it's like to be student and can relate to what you might be going though academically or socially. We're in this together!
