About Seth
I am a graduate from Capitol Technology University with a Bachelor's of Science in Astronautical Engineering. Currently pursuing a Master's of Research in Astronautical Engineering.
I am currently employed at John's Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer and at Capitol Technology University as an Adjunct Professor teaching Orbital Mechanics and Spacecraft Attitude, Dynamics and Control. Which my average grade for students has been an A-.
I previously also tutored a variety of engineering topics including Physics where I would consistently help students boost their grades in quizzes and exams!
I also previously worked at NASA as a subcontractor where I worked as a Satellite Operator for the Earth Observation System flying the Aqua, Aura, and Terra spacecrafts!!
Conducted a variety of interesting projects which can be explained as requested! My background also includes Aviation Technology where I studied Aircraft, Aeronautics, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Aviation Maintenance, and more!

So, my teaching methodology has been to take complex ideas, theories, and applications and help students break these concepts down to their most fundamental components. This allows you to see what is fundamentally occurring and what this is telling you as you go through a problem. Therefore, making it easier to apply to future problems!
Majority of my teaching experience, I have noticed students particularly have a challenging time connecting math to logic and concepts. So, once a problem I'd broken down then you can see how math equations and problems are just ways of expressing something fundamentally occuring!!
So, my lesson plans for 1v1 or 1vMore student sessions start with an introduction. This intro just ensures what we are about to cover is the intended topic and that we'll reach the goals you have in mind for the session. Let's make an example and say a discussion of Physics with a specific topic of Energy. Before the session I would have understood where the problems are coming from and why they are happening. So, if it's all the way confusing then we start with "What is energy", them move into the different types of energy that exists.
After showcasing how those equations come from the fundamentals of what that energy means then we would go into how these energies can transform into other forms of energy and the conservation of energy. After all that fun stuff it truly depends on the students needs and what their struggle is so typically running through some problems or asking questions would occur as well!
For lectures and these sessions they are similar because they focus towards my intended goals for students and some mixture of student wants or goals. It's one collaboration where I help you learn!
