Psychology is ever evolving and can be learned according to your interest in the human mind and emotions. It begins with general education and becomes a part of understanding yourself in the world and how the world works.
I studied Psychology and sports psychology to understand human motivation. I applied what I learned about expert athletes to experts in business. I learned what motivated a person to become an expert. I learned what keeps them motivated. Finally I put together a paper on how an expert handles a setback to become a top performer again. It has really helped me in my life. I plan to apply lessons learned in psychology and business to writing.
