About Matt
I studied classical and jazz double bass and bass guitar at one of the four music specialists in the U.K. (Wells Cathedral School) on a 100% scholarship, achieving grade 8 at the age of 15. At this time I was taught by non other than Yuri Goloubev!!

I will teach classical technique for adapting to whatever style is preferred, however jazz is my speciality.
Typical lesson length is 1 hour but I am very flexible.
Taught jazz theory and instrument technique in masterclasses and one2one over the world.
Happy to teach at all levels and ages.
