About Sathvi
I am a graduate of Mannes School of Music with several years of experience performing as a freelance musician across the NYC area. I am classically trained but perform many different genres such as contemporary music, improv based ensembles, musical theater etc. I have taught students of all different ages and skill levels for more than 3 years now and tailor my approach to fit each student's needs.

I teach violin mainly using the Suzuki books, and can also prepare students for ABRSM or NYSSMA exams. Everyone is welcome, from absolute beginners to more advanced students.
I also encourage my students to listen to as much music as possible, and to get comfortable discussing what they like and don't like about it.
