About Djamila
I have a Bachelors with honours in Politics and Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from a Russell Group University.
I have always enjoyed learning languages and exploring new cultures, having worked in France in a fully French-speaking environment interacting with clients and colleagues of various linguistic backgrounds.
I have been tutoring for over 5 years now and enjoy seeing my students finally understand that one tricky piece of grammar or get excited by that one word they hadn't been able to pronounce for weeks.

I have been tutoring online since 2021 so have a lot of experience in getting students prepared and confident for their GCSEs and A Levels.
My lessons start with an introduction class where I get to know the student and their current level with some short activities and then speak to them about which elements they find most difficult.
I then create lesson plans that I can share with the students and/or their parents that tackle each part of the curriculum and ensure they are fully ready for their exams.

I highly recommend Djamila as an English tutor for A Level English Literature.
Her lessons were clearly structured with my weaknesses in mind helping me improve my analysis without wasting time revisiting topics and skills I was already confident in.
I couldn't recommend her more!Djamila is a very friendly person and an excellent tutor. I was struggling to understand aspects of the GCSE Literature course like the poetry analysis and comparison but she explained it in simple terms and helped me understand not only what to write but how to write it. This got me an 8 in my mock exam compared to the 6s I was getting last year and I'm so grateful for her help. I would definitely reccomend her to anyone struggling with English.
