About Justin
I am an art student who is studying to become a fine arts professor. I am in my 3rd year of my master's program at SCAD for oil painting, making it my 8th year at SCAD total and my 10th year as an oil painter!
I am mostly a classical style artist, focused on the human figure, baroque style lighting/posing, technique, and process. I love teaching others what I know and seeing them grow as artists — it truly is my passion.
I also do a lot of drawing with charcoals mainly but I am very capable with graphite, chalk pastels, and oil pastels.

Because I am a new tutor here, I am discounting my rate to $10/hr for my first two students to get things started!
Oil painting can be tricky if you are just starting out, and it continues to be tricky after doing it a while! I just want to share the knowledge that I have amassed over the years of painting to anybody who wants to listen!
We can start by talking about what you want from our lessons and continue into personalized content based on your needs.
I'll give critiques as requested by you, we can sit and talk about technique, talk about specific master's techniques, I can give live demos, we can paint alongside each other, etc.
