About Danielle
I am an MA candidate in Art History at Pratt Institute, and have experience teaching AP and college-level visual arts. I am passionate about my field and I'm currently writing my thesis about contemporary artworks by Indigenous artists. I value student feedback and I am always willing to work with students who may need extra help with their coursework, especially those who have ADHD or dyslexia.

I love tutoring college and AP-level high school students in art history and journalism. My teaching methods are discussion-based, and I like to help students come to their own conclusions about works of art while also learning the historical context behind them. My overall goal for students is to help them gain a sense of visual literacy while honing their critical thinking skills. I incorporate a number of creative projects and writing assignments into my teaching, including academic essay writing workshops, art making, and more.
