About Jay
An adroit physics enthusiast (and a professional too)! I am a researcher of theoretical physics, currently pursuing an active domain of research in Quantum Gravity, and my methods rely heavily on physical insights (e.g. dualities in quantum field theories) and non-commutative geometry. Regarding my teaching experience, I served as a Teaching Assistant (Tutor and Lab TA) at McMaster University for a distinguished two and a half years. Throughout this tenure, I contributed substantively to a number of courses spanning Analytical Physics, Computational Physics, Electromagnetism, General Relativity & Quantum Mechanics.

My teaching method combines top-down problem-solving strategies with bottom-up explanatory methods. I start with core principles, avoiding unnecessary assumptions, and construct a logical framework for understanding. I tailor lessons to suit different learning styles, prioritizing adaptability.
I also introduce challenging problems deliberately. This not only boosts students' confidence in tackling diverse inquiries but also helps their ability to question conventional wisdom.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jay for past several years and to learn the concepts of physics and mathematics was a privilege. The manner in which he conducts himself and the style in which he solves the problems and explains the topic is remarkable. He has the innate ability to explain complex lessons in an easy way. He has provided support and guidance in my academics and contributed a lot to my academic success
