About Aelita
My name is Aelita Kockar and I am currently in my first year of university studying Criminology and Politics BA (Hons). Throughout high school English Literature was my favorite class as well as the course I was strongest in. I think my interest in literature lies in its universal nature, namely the way that anyone can find some important lesson for themselves within any given piece of literature. Another gift of literature is that, in my opinion, it is meant to be discussed. The best way to truly grasp the full message of a work of literature is to see what others thought of it and compare it to your own comprehension which is a big reason I wish to teach. My goal is to bridge our understandings of any works you are assigned or need help with and then use that information to help you excel in your course or goal that you are working towards.

My lessons are personally crafted to fit each student’s strengths and weaknesses in the realm of English Language and Literature. According to your goal, be it passing IB or AP literature or just generally improving your essay writing skills, we will work out what teaching approach suits you best. Once that is established we can agree on the times when you are available to meet and proceed accordingly. I am a university student therefore my working hours are quite flexible and I have no doubt we will be able to work out a suitable compromise that suits both parties.
