About Art
I’ve been drawing since kindergarten. I’ve always liked it. I was always the best artist in the class except for 4th grade and high school where I met advanced students. Like I mentioned, I sell the majority of my work. I’m very fortunate in that. I really enjoy being an artist. You get to go out, meet people, have fun, live life. It’s great. If you don’t have an exhibit, your friends have an event you can go to. You get to know musicians, poets, writers, educators, people that buy art, all kinds of cool people. There’s always something going on.

I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE to paint. I sell the majority of my artwork. My lesson plans are for beginning students. We would learn the basics, how light and shadows really define the objects we’re looking at. We make it fun by having students bring objects they want to paint and draw. This way they are really into the project. I want the students to feel comfortable and confident with bringing out their ideas. That’s why I encourage them to work with objects they choose while learning the basics.
