About Thomas
I was born in Italy, but raised in The Netherlands (in Amsterdam). After graduating in Computer Science I worked in various fields as a software developer, technical assistance and IT consultancy. Thanks to my work experience I learned a lot on various IT fields.
I specialize in website development, both with web languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL) and with WordPress-like applications. Developing sites has allowed me to delve into the world of Linux, the Open Source operating system that I use to host websites.
In addition to these skills, I also gave training courses for both basic and advanced computer use.

This course is aimed at people who want to improve their digital skills. I don't just teach "how to do it," but also why. I always try to use engaging real-world cases and examples, so that after a lesson, they're satisfied and motivated to learn more about the topic being taught. The lessons are designed for people of all levels: from beginners who want to learn to intermediates seeking new knowledge.
In my lessons, I use the European Framework of Reference for Digital Skills (DigComp 2.2) as a guiding principle. DigComp divides digital skills into 5 categories:
1. Information and Data Literacy
2. Communication and Collaboration
3. Digital Content Creation
4. Safety
5. Problem Solving
Each category covers specific skills we can focus on.
Of course, the topics covered depend entirely on your needs.

Thomas è un insegnante di fiducia perché riesce a darti molta sicurezza e ti fa sentire a tuo agio, anche se sei negato per la materia, come nel mio caso. Thomas e' molto paziente, disponibile, riesce a coinvolgere, non manca di umorismo.
