About Ana
I have always loved teaching, ever since I was a teenager. Passionate about languages and cultures, I believe that understanding others is key to understanding the world we live in. I became a certified teacher after passing the CAPES exam in 2015 and taught in different public schools for several years in France, as well as in England and Canada. In addition to my work in schools, I have been giving private tuition since the age of 16, both independently and through the teaching agency ACADOMIA. My goal is always to make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful for my students.

I am a dedicated and experienced French teacher, skilled in teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I am a native speaker and I taught in France as abroad in Canada and England. Whether in private tuition or in a school setting (from middle school to high school), I adapt my pedagogy to each student's needs, combining clear explanations, interactive exercises and games and cultural insights which are important to my eyes. My goal is to make learning French both accessible and engaging, fostering confidence and fluency in every student through a structured yet dynamic approach.
When students feel comfortable and encouraged, they are more likely to practice and make progress. Helping students feel comfortable with the language before diving into complex grammar builds confidence and motivation seems the most important for me. When they enjoy the process and feel at ease, they naturally absorb structures and vocabulary. Learning should be an engaging journey, not just memorizing grammar tables!
