About Ailen

I am a 32-year-old Argie girl living in Australia. I moved over here 6 years ago eager to travel, see the world and live in an English-speaking country. Since little I have felt passion for the English language so I started taking lessons with a tutor and learning by myself as well. I am a people person, nice, kind, funny, friendly and bubbly. I love meeting people from different countries with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Also, I really enjoy helping people and I know teaching is a way of helping which drives me even more to devote my time to teaching English.

About the lesson

I am a translator graduated from Argentina, with proficient English level, and a TEFL teacher. I give one or two hour lessons, depending on the student, and one or two days a week. In our first encounter, the student will do a short test which will help me know their level. Also we can discuss their interests and main reasons to learn the language so I can tailor my classes to their needs. As a good EFL teacher, the technique I use to teach is communication. I guide the students to find the target language I will teach them, as well as the rules. I provide very dynamic classes to get the student involved, so they learn while enjoying. My classes can be one by one, or in group, and they are open to all ages and levels. I first worked as a tutor back in Argentina, in 2018, where I also worked as an English teacher at a bilingual primary school. Then, I moved to Australia where I worked as a tutor in my free time. Now I want to make it a full-time job and career again.
