About Ellie
Hi there! I'm Ellie, I'm 22 years old and currently just finishing up a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking at university. Before I did my degree, I took a year on an English and Creative Writing Foundation course, which gave me the necessary academic writing skills I needed to be able to do well at uni - and as well gained some valuable life experience in going on that year.
Going through my life during GCSEs and A-Levels I mainly studied by myself, because unfortunately I didn't have the greatest support behind me. I want to be able to support people the way I wanted to be supported when I was going through my exams, and that's why I wanted to become a tutor.

Approachable and down-to-earth, I've been in education for about 18 years of my life - and yes, I've done a degree through the pandemic (so I know how much of a struggle it can be to do work!). I have past experience of teaching French at a primary and secondary school level, as well as doing science lessons with primary-age children - I've also taught as part of my time in the Air Cadets to secondary age students.
Lessons can range from about 1-2 hours, and will mainly be for GCSE to A-Level students preparing for their futures and any exams that they may have coming up.
