About Ellie
I want to teach because I enjoy helping pupils develop their confidence and realise their potential. I find it incredibly rewarding to see a pupil overcome a challenge, develop a skill and recognise their own progress. English is a subject I am passionate about, and I enjoy making it accessible, engaging and appropriately challenging for every pupil. After four years of teaching in secondary schools, I particularly value building positive relationships with pupils and adapting my teaching to support their individual needs.

My lessons are tailored to each pupil’s individual needs, ability and goals. With four years of experience teaching English in secondary schools, I create supportive and engaging lessons that build confidence while providing the right level of challenge. I focus on developing key skills in reading, writing, analysis and exam technique, while adapting my approach to help each pupil make meaningful progress.
