About Cristina
Graduated in Foreign Languages, and majoring in International Relations, I have gained a lot of experience in teaching languages (English and Spanish). I have previously worked with elementary, middle and high school students, as well as having taught at a school in Portugal during my university internship.

I am convinced that a creative learning method is always very fruitful. I have found that the fundamental theoretical foundations remain more easily etched when they can be referred to something tangible and familiar. I teach grammar, syntax and vocabulary by making real references to popular culture, music, cinema, newspaper articles. In this way, in addition to being able to see the rule just learned applied, the student can train reading or listening - having fun and maybe discovering something new: learning in the round is always more fun! At the end of my classes, like when training for a sport, we play the game, which in our case is a bit of healthy conversation in the foreign language. It is obvious that to fix some concepts the classic rigor of repetition is always useful, an infallible method to never let the new notions escape: on some occasions I will therefore be a bit boring and traditional, but don't worry, it will be worth it :)
