About Laura
Graduated in Translation, I specialised in English language, linguistics and literature at the University of Palermo, the University of Modena and Durham University, the third most prestigious university in the United Kingdom after Cambridge and Oxford. I have been teaching private lessons for over ten years and at all ages, from 6 years old onward. I have prepared children and adults for state exams, university exams, thesis writing, editing of doctoral articles and exams for the achievement of linguistic certifications. I worked for a year at Helen Doron, an international franchise that offers the teaching of English with a mother-tongue method to children from three months of age up to the adolescence. I have taught English in kindergartens and also in professional training courses for adults.

Of course, I adapt to the needs of my students, so I like to outline a plan of lessons tailored to each person. I always try to make the lessons stimulating and interesting with varied support, such as videos, presentations, songs, simulations, games and so on.
