About Nathan
I have been a pianist for over a decade and a teacher for six years, I have a conservatory certificate in music reading and structure (2013) and a university degree in composition and conducting (2019), I am currently pursuing a master's degree in musicology.

My methodology focuses on the student's total independence; this means that after a while the student will be able to choose his or her own songs, solve interpretation problems, and organize a recital without the help of a teacher.
To achieve this bold objective, we will work with music in class through the four basic skills that every musician needs to develop: listening comprehension, musical expression, written comprehension, and written expression.
Many piano methods focus only on teaching how to read sheet music and play it, teaching neither writing nor listening - and so the student never achieves independence.
