About Karlo
I was born and raised in the Philippines and currently working in the US. I've been helping students with special needs for almost 10 years. I have a deep passion for helping children who struggle with reading. I believe that every child deserves the chance to become a confident reader, no matter where they start. I specialize in working patiently and creatively with students who face reading challenges—whether it's decoding words, improving comprehension, or building fluency. I use proven strategies and engaging materials that make learning to read feel less frustrating and more empowering. What drives me is seeing the joy and pride on a child’s face when they begin to read with understanding and confidence. Helping them believe in themselves is the most meaningful part of my work.
