About Nicola
My Name is Nicola Martland, i hope to inspire and motivate students in order to achieve their full potential. My lessons are always focused on the specific needs of my students. I work hard to differentiate learning so that each student’s unique skills are emphasised and catered for. My teaching aims to provide confidence to the students and inspire their future careers. Experience within the Health and Social and Early Years has enabled me to gain an real insight and in depth understanding of the key concepts of the sector, my teaching allows me to use my experiences to educate others. My teaching will set high standards and high expectations for students by promoting growth mindsets among my students. All my students know that I expect them to try their hardest and strive for improvement with receiving effectcient support along their journey for fulfillment

Lessons are student focused, going above and beyond to meet the individual needs of the learners, ensuring topics and content is understood and areas that require further support will be provided. My methodology of teaching is using students interests and likes to form lessons, these consist of being creative, group discussions or a more formal way of teaching. Lengths of lessons will be around an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the content being covered. My qualifications consist of Childcare and Early Years Level 3, First Class degree in BSC (HONS) Child Health and Wellbeing and a PGDE in Post 14 Education. I have years of experience teaching Early Years, Primary and now FE students. Lessons are available for all students no matter what age or level who are requiring further teaching in Health and Social, Children and Early Years or additional support in writing academically.
