About Ella
I am a fourth-year, student-athlete at Colgate University in New York. I study History and English, but am well-rounded in a variety of subjects, including rhetoric, sociology, and religion. My semesters consist of writing creative, analysis, and research-based papers, in which I have intensely developed my writing and grammatical skills. My childhood education was homeschool-based - this provided me the chance to learn in a one-on-one environment, thus my deep understanding of the benefit of private tutoring.

I am an enthusiastic and patient person with a passion for all kinds of writing! I have a strong education in English and History, thus my extensive abilities in writing, research, grammar, spelling, and rhetoric. My passion and experience of working with children allows me to teach elementary age in a clear, concise, and simple way, though I also have the capacity to teach high school level. Lessons typically consist of going through examples together to allow my students to fully comprehend the concepts, alongside practice questions and examples. I ensure that students understand their material before asking them to do their own work - it is important to me that they are confident in their abilities.
