About Ryan
I have taught for a range of different schools through out north Somerset with ages 8+. Alongside this I do gigs around North Somerset with professional wedding/function bands. I also write and play in a progressive rock band called ‘Now we roam’ with an EP on all streaming platforms and an album in the works. I have also had experience playing pit gigs for musicals such as Greese, Our House and Sisters Act which was a stint at the 'Theatre Royal' In Windsor.
I have studied Rockschool guitar grades 1-8 so am happy to teach through these syllabuses if anyone is interested but can fit the lessons around you and how you would like to progress! :-)

Hey!
My name is Ryan Upward I'm a guitarist from Weston-Super-Mare (Bristol area). I have been playing guitar for 10 years and have been gigging around North Somerset in a variety of bands playing all different styles of music from metal, rock and Blues to Jazz and funk. Im inspired by lots of music and would love to share what I have learnt over the years! Previously I have taught in primary schools, secondary schools and 18+ ages.
All lessons would be planned around you and what you would like to achieve out of them. We could work through graded guitar exams or I could customise it so we can focus in on all areas you would like to improve/learn!
